I want to expand my existing powerline network.  I don't need the sending unit (that plugs into the router). Rather, i need a second receiving unit (that extends the network and provides the wifi).  Is it possible to buy just that, or do I need to buy an entire other pair?

You would need to get the entire set. Unfortunately, we do not sell them individually.
