I had a look, and all I actually needed was a range extender, which turn out to be half the price. I got a RE220, seems OK. The one difference is the AV600 had a pair button which takes 3 seconds to set up, while I actually had to log into the RE220, which takes 5 minutes. Also, the AV600 somehow kept the existing wifi settings, so you only needed to add one wifi instance to your device. The RE220 adds a second wifi source, so you have to add both to every device. I probably did the settings wrong. Actually I was pretty grumpy at the time, but time is a great healer :p
