We turned off the power strip because it was lightening. Now the box has a steady orange light that wont go away. We have reset the box and turned it off and back on again. What has happened? Why can't it be fixed?

The amber LED just means the router sees a connection, but there is no internet. If the LED was not even lit then that means a bad Ethernet cable or bad WAN port.
