I installed an RE220 6 months ago to improve my wireless coverage in my house. I need to improve wireless in another part of the house so I purchased another RE220 and tried to install it using Tether. Tether does not recognize the new RE220.

Does anyone have suggestions?

Close Tether out, look at your available wireless networks to see if the default SSID of the extender is shown. If it is connected to it, log in through the phone's browser and set it up. If you do not see the default SSID you need to factory reset it by holding the reset for 15 seconds while it has been plugged in.
