Just got the AC1750. Got it set up on the app with no issues. Moved it to my room. Plugged it in, 2.4g and 5g lit up. I'm on my phone using it right now. But when I go to set up a wireless network on my PS4, I enter the password and it tries to connect for a while, but then it times out and says couldn't connect in the time frame. I've tried both the 2.4g and 5g a few times now with no success. Any ideas?

Is the extender broadcasting the same wireless network name of your main router? If so, make it different by adding -ext or something similar. 

 

Have you tried connecting the Ethernet cable on the RE450 to the PS4? How does that work?

 

Make sure the PS4 is not set for a static IP address in the network settings and everything is DHCP.

@Szuter Nope.  Ended up getting a power line adapter.
