My RE450 is connected to both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz networks. 2.4Ghz works fine. The 5Ghz conncetion works fine wired but doesn't have internet when I connect wirelessy. My devices will connect to it but they'll say "no internet connection"

 

I've updated the firmware. Resetting the extender fixes the issue for 20 minutes or so before it happens again. It happens on all of my devices including a Mac, Windows Laptop, iPhone, iPad, and Android phone.

 

Is there a fix for this? I'm at my wits end as my 2.4Ghz network is very slow and I prefer 5Ghz.

When the 5G no longer gives internet, look at the LED light, if that is turned off then the signal from the router is too weak. Move the extender to the same room of the router, reset the extender so it connects back to the router to see if it now stays connected.

The LED is still blue even when the internet drops.
