Sometimes it's pointed in different direction and misses the subject in motion.
I don't want to leave it in patrol mode because of the warning about the motor.
There is not, you can set up smart actions, but that will either turn off another smart device or start a timer: https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/2567/
