Model: Archer CR700
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: v1.0.3 Build 20150413 Rel12120

OS: Windows 10

Browser: Chrome 85, Firefox 80

When I click Advanced -> NAT Forwarding -> Port Forwarding the area of the page where port forwarding should load goes blank, The router crashes completely - the web interface becomes unresponsive and I lose internet access. I have to power cycle the modem.

Is there a way to update the firmware?

@mrnwog

We have since released new firmware to all ISP's about three years ago that fixed the issue you mentioned with the port forwarding crashing the GUI.

With the CR700 only the ISP's are able to update the system when they provision the modem or set it up on their end for the first time.

I would recommend contacting the ISP and see if they have firmware that is build 150925 or greater or have then push the latest firmware they have then check the build to see if it is updated.

If the ISP says the build that you have now is all they have, reach out to our support at that point.

@Tony thank you for that information! I bought this modem from a 3rd-party, not from my ISP. They say they have no ability to update the firmware. Is there a way I can update it?
