We changed Internet service to Charter/Spectrum and cannot connect our range extender to the new router.

Did you try to reset the extender? What is the model?

Yes, we tried to reset a couple of times but could never get to the point that all if the lights on the extender would fo out. It is a Model RE205

@Torey Did you give it a unique network name or use the same WiFi name as the router?

@Temoshee It came up with a new network name, adding EXT to our original network name.
