Model: Deco M4

Hardware Version: V2

Firmware Version: 1.1.9 Build 20200426 Rel. 63250

Samsung J5 phone cannot connect to any of my 2 remote Deco M4 units but can connect to main Deco M4 where it works perfectly

All other devices like iPhones, Huawei Android phone, laptops & other remote kit like sentral heating controller can connect to any of the 3 Deco units and can seamlessly roam between them

All Deco units are connected to an Ethernet switch which is connected to cable modem/router

Units are in AP mode

Fast roaming is enabled but have tried with it disabled and get the same behaviour where the Samsung phone cannot connect

Tried with just 2G enable and just 5G enabled but still does not work

SOLVED

Seem to have the system working now.

Reconfigured the remote Deco which I had the problem with into the main Deco (all 3x Decos are wired to Ethernet and in AP mode).

The Samsung A20e now seems to work so far and is now able to connect to each of the access points.

No idea why this worked...

Its a Samsung A20e not J5.

If main Deco is powered off and only one remote is powered on the phone connecte to the Deco which is powered on just fine. When the main unit is powered on the connection to the remote unit is lost and the WiFi network cannot be seen. If the phone is brought closer to the main unit, it picks up WiFi from thge main unit OK
