I have several HS110/HS100 outlet plugs which work fine in the Kasa app. I tried to add existing plugs to the ST app and it shows them when I am in the add process but when I click done they do not show in the ST app under the room I selected. No error messages. What gives?

On the top right of the main dashboard select the three dots and select edit to see if all the devices in Kasa show in the smart things app. (ex. 6/6 devices). 

 

You could also try creating a new room and adding your devices to that to see if all the plugs finally show up.
