I have a range extender that i hope to install in my garage where i do not have WIFI but i have a Ethernet cable connected to my apple airport

If you have an Ethernet cable running from the Apple router to the garage you can set up the TL-WA855RE as an access point where it will take the internet connection from the Ethernet cable and provide a Wi-Fi signal from it.
