i was told by the computer company that sold me this that i needed to configure this on bridge, when i get the configure all done it states no internet connection, have no idea how to fix this and i am sure it is something simple i am missing. I am not computer network savy at all so can someone on here walk me through this.

If you are looking to configure the 801ND to connect to your router via Wi-Fi, then in turn providing internet like a range extender you need to set up range extender mode.

 

Here is a FAQ that walks you through setting that up: https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/1604/

 

When configuring it, the wireless password that you would set for step 6 is the same wireless password you would use to connect to the network you are connecting the 801ND to.
