 THE TP-LINK AC1750 OPERATES THROUGH THE POWER LINES IN THE HOUSE.  I BELIEVE IT MAY BE IDENTIFIED AS A TL-WPA8730, BUT I AM NOT SURE.

I ATTEMPTED TO ADD MORE RANGE EXTENDERS, BUT COULD NOT FIND THE SAME MODEL. i BOUGHT THREE TP-LINK MESH WIFI RE300 AC1200 DUAL BANDS AND ATTEMPTED TO LINK THE NEW EXTENDER TO THE CURRENT SYSTEM.  i TRIED USING THE TETHER APP, AND TO INSTALL BY USING THE PAIRING BUTTON ON UNIT PLUGGED INTO THE WALL, AND THE PAIRING BUTTON ON THE EXTENDER.

   THE EXTENDER BLINKED , BUT DID NOT CONNECT. I ALSO TRIED THE TETHER APP.   i DO NOT HAVE A TPLINK ROUTER, BUT RUN THE SIGNAL BY ETHERNET CABLE FROM THE VERIZON ROUTER TO THE TPLINK UNIT IN THE ELECTRIC WALL SOCKET.

CAN THE TWO SYSTEMS CONNECT?  HOW CAN I ACCOMPLISH THE CONNECTION?

@RobinHood1945

The TL-WPA8730 powerline works by connecting the wired-only adapter to a wireless router: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PDLC6Ehai-c

The RE300 range extenders connecting to an existing wireless signal so you can have them connect to the TL-WPA8730 or to your existing wireless router.

You would use the tpPLC app on your smartphone to configure the powerline device, and then use Tether to set up the range extender.

Here is a FAQ on how to set up the range extenders: https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/1373/
