Model: RE300
Hardware Version: V7
Firmware Version:

I have a certain application which requires the following adjustment:

“Make sure your 2.4GHz frequency uses a 20MHz channel width.”

Can someone please explain to me in Tether how to make this change?

Thank you.

@jeff.freedman

The extender will copy the settings of the router so if you need 20 MHz for your 2.4G, set that in your router.

If you have a TP-Link router the option to change the width may not be in the app so you will need to log into the router and the option should be located in Advanced > Wireless settings.

Once you set the router to 20 MHz, set up the extender to the router 2.4GHz, and your extender will now be running at 20 MHz.
