Hello I can get my re450 to pop up in my WiFi but when I go on tether app it constantly says it's signal to the router isn't there and I've placed it directly next to the router and threw out the house to no connection at all and neither 2.4 or 5ghz lights show up and my signal led flashes blue then shuts off

It sounds like setting up the extender is not successful or the 2.4G or 5G would be solid. I would recommend verifying the wireless password you are using in the Kasa app during setup is in fact correct. If you are using the WPS method in setting up the extender, try the method again to see if it connects a second time.
