I was wondering if it would be possible to add an power saving mode to the Archer C7 v5.

For example, if my laptop is off and my phone is in standby (i.e. no WIFI connection apart from periodic email/messenger checks), the Archer C7 could reduce the WIFI strength from 100% to e.g. 50%. If a probe request is sent from my phone, the Archer C7 receives it and sets the strength back up to 100%.

I thought, this should be possible, as I can manually change the WIFI strength from low to medium/high, so the CPU should be capable to set it automatically back and forth between these steps, depending on connection or stand-by (= no connections at all).

Could this be possible via Firmware update?
