I would like to use this smart plug to routinely power down then power up my modem.  Will I be able to power up my modem without network availability?

@Millewg001 Yes you can.

I have a schedule for Monday at 1:00 am to turn off the modem and router, then 1:05 am turn them back on.

It works perfectly.

@Millewg001 it should be able to do this yes. Just note that you won't be able to control anything on your smart home network while the modem is out. If for some reason it doesn't power back on as scheduled, you'll have to manually turn the plug back on.
