Hello...

In dire need of help on this topic. I had to change Comcast modems recently. My range extenders stopped working. I contacted chat twice and both times were quite bad -- disconnected in just over 1 minute (with the chat window saying "Overtime!") when I had to look up settings. Second chat, support referred me to a URL and disconnected.

The question is: I can see the range extender in Network Settings on my Mac, but there's NO lock icon, so I know it's insecure. I've tried googling this question but cannot find a clear answer.  How do I get the range extenders secured?

Thank you very much for any help on this question.

Win
