  @PowerlineFW thanks again for the new firmware!

It works partially better again on one particular remote adapter, however in another part of one of the PLC networks it behaves strange, mixing up station id/MAC addresses, and one adapter loosing connectivity more than before:

The adapter loosing connection now after patching, after power cycle; so it seems TEIs are not given out on a rotary anymore (whatever the effect is).

  @PowerlineFW @netadair. First, I would like to suggest 1) to reset the NMK (powerline network name) to default (HomePlugAV) for all adapters using the TP Utility software, and when this has been done, 2) change the NMK (back) again to make it unique and secure. This should solve the connection or adapter drop out issues.

If the problematic adapter has a WIFI module/repeater then also restore the WIFI settings by 1) using a backup (.bin file) of your WIFI settings, or if you don't have a backup 2) reset the WIFI settings to default (factory restore). Under "System Tools" of the GUI of the adapter.

The adapters should behave normal again for both the powerline and the WIFI part of the adapter.

My personal first impression so far is that the powerline connection of fw2.12 is more stable as fw2.11.

Having lldp and "bridging mme" mentioned in the release notes, how would I query the lldp between the adapters, and would "bridging mme" feature be just a compatibility issue with multiple networks, or is it a feature to have multiple (bridged) networks on one adapter?

What software would you suggest to use features like these, or VLAN, or the like?

  @PowerlineFW Guess I'm not the only one who missed the 2.13.0.0020 release in topic start of this thread.

  @Ariek @mikepap

The link is corrected.

For MME search for: Manual:Routing/MME and Manual:MME wireless routing protocol. The posting of the link is here not possible.

  @PowerlineFW

Why would I want to extract the firmware from my device and reflash it?

The idea is to update the firmware: Download it from somewhere, flash that and done.

That being said, I dont believe Im gonna update it: Since they FINALLY put the remove DHCP server option, its been doing well. Im planning to get another adapter to split my network in two, so to speak.
