Model: RE220
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I have the RE220 linked to a Netgear Nighthawk as an extender. One laptop is connected to the Nighthawk, and a desktop using the RE220 using the ethernet port. The netork name for the laptop is Neatgear-5G, but the desktop is connected to 'Network 4'. Under Windows 10 File & Print sharing they can't see each other under Network Discovery. Is the ethernet port not bridged to the wi-fi?

  @Edvaard

When you are setting up your range extender, the RE will have its own DHCP server so that clients like your PC can connect to it and configure the settings. Have you gone into the settings for your RE and configured the settings? For the network discovery to work, your RE will have to use the DHCP server that is operating on your router. The RE will also have a feature for Proxy Mode, that may allow your devices to be seen separately in the client list on your main router.
