2.4G Won't connect
Got my RE315 yesterday. The 2.4G light does not come on, indicating it is not connected. 5G is ok. I connected with the Tether app which list both the 2.4G and the 5G. But the extender is not connecting to the 2.4G. Please advise. THANKS!

The first setting I would check is to make sure that you do not have high-speed mode enabled. This function of your RE will reconfigure your connection to attempt a higher-bandwidth connection than its default configuration. If this setting is turned off, and the SSIDs are not set to be hidden, I would recommend factory resetting your device and configuring the RE again.

@MaddMax2u Thanks, but I did a factory reset with no change in results. In checking the Tether app has high speed mode set to "Auto". Which apparently turns off one network to speed up the other. Great except I have devices that only work on 2.4G. I need both 5g and 2.4g extended. So I tried to change to "Manual" and the app will not let me do that. Any other suggestions? Without having both networks extended this device is useless to me!! HELP!
