Model: Archer AX50
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.11

Please enable mesh networking for the Archer AX50. A review of the support forums shows a lot of users asking for this. See https://community.tp-link.com/us/home/forum/topic/213858?replyId=1042928 as one example. At some point TP-Link had been working on this, and announced it as a "coming soon" feature. In a larger, older home, across three floors, it would be great to be able to expand coverage.

  @Martian514,

I don't even have to go into that thread to know what you are talking about lol.

Yes, the team has been working on bringing mesh networking to more and more of our devices, whether it be adding OneMesh to new devices or working on EasyMesh.

EasyMesh is a technology that TP-Link has committed to developing and adding to our products. We currently have no ETA on when this will be available, however, I would not be surprised if we hear information soon; especially with the Wi-Fi 7 Product Launch Event Coming Soon.

Unfortunately, we have no real insight into what routers will be and will not have features added via firmware updates. For this reason, we always recommend purchasing products based on the features it currently has, rather than what is planned. With some additions, it may end up not being technically feasible due to hardware limitations.
