Model: RE355
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.0 Build 20180204 Rel. 61695

Hello, I have an ASUS RT-AX88U as my router.  I also have an RE355 and an RE650.  Both are set up as access points and using the ethernet port to the router.  Everything is working fine and as it should.  I try connect to the RE355 and when I use the Tether application on my phone it only sees the RE650 and the RE355 is an Unknown Range Extender and does not show it's MAC number.

Because of this, I cannot log in to manage it from my Iphone.  Only if I go direct through my PC by IP address.

Is this a limitation of the Tether app or can this be fixed?

Hi, are the RE355 and RE650 DHCP still configured as Auto? If so, please turn them off and test if it solves the problem. Unfortunately, this did not resolve my issue. I changed both the RE355 and RE650 to DHCP off and rebooted. Rebooted the router. Reinstalled the tether app. Still only shows the RE650 and I can only access the RE355 by using the TP-Link website. Not through the Tether app. Any other suggestions?
