Model: TL-PA9020P KIT

Hardware Version: V4

Firmware Version: 3.2.4_902104_190506_901

I recently tried to update my powerline adapter firmware, so I downloaded the installer, then downloaded the update file which listed the new firmware version as "BCM60500_v4.01d_20190523_US_PA9020Pv5.ggl". The installer recognized and installed the ggl file, but when it was complete, the version didn't change - the installer still says the version is "3.2.4_902104_19506_901". What is the latest firmware version for my TL-PA9020P adapters? Thanks for any guidance you can provide.

I see the same issue with the same version numbers.... did you ever resolve the issue?

I am also having the same issue with the "TL-PA9020P(US) Ver: 4.6 VN1".

The GGL file I have downloaded is "BCM60500_v4.0.1d_20190523_US_PA9020Pv4.0.ggl" and once installed it claims it was successful, but no change to the firmware. I have unplugged/re-plugged all devices and restarted the TP-Link utility, but no change in the firmware version (still shows "3.2.4_902104_19506_901").

After 3-1/2 months, I still have no resolution of the firmware issue despite several attempts. I may scrap the TP-PA9020P adapters and buy new equipment from another manufacturer. I have had enough with TP-link's terrible customer service. They acknowledge there is a problem for many customers but refuse to respond or fix it. Not acceptable.
