Guest Network - Change Default Name?

Model: Deco W7200
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.1 Build 20230611 Rel. 76298

I typically don't keep my Guest network broadcasting, but only enable it when I have guests or another need.  I'm wondering if it's possible to set a permanent name for that Guest SSID?  Currently, each time I re-enable the Guest network it defaults back to just adding "_Guest" to my primary SSID name.  Of course I can (and do) change it every time I enable it, but I haven't found a way to make that permanent.

Thanks,

Jeff

I had selected the "Feature Request" tag just in case, but just to confirm:  I'm assuming that since my post was moved to the Feature Request category that there is no way to accomplish this today with current code?

Thanks,

Jeff

I would also like to know the answer to this. Same issue: I can't save a permanent Guest Network SSID name. It always reverts to my main network name with "_Guest" added as suffix. This is very annoying. I should be able to permanently save my Guest Network name.

@rek2575 After the recent firmware update (1.2.4 Build 20231226 Rel. 55347 for me) it appears that this is working now.  I enabled then changed the name of my Guest network, then disabled it again.  When I enable it again now it retains the custom name I had given it.  Just a heads up!
