Hi I have downloaded the latest version of the utility tpPLC and the zip file for the latest firmware. Installed the utility and extracted the zip file. When I try to update the firmware I keep getting the message Update Failed with a little sad face.
Any ideas what the issue might be please?
A few things:
I assume by your username that you are located in the UK, which means you may have better luck on our global forums, where Powerline is a much more popular topic.
Next - make sure that you are downloading the firmware correctly for your region and your hardware version. Due to the difference in powerline frequency, it is more important than usual to verify that you are using the correct firmware. You can find the correct hardware version and region on the label of your device.
How are you updating / connecting to your device? We recommend connecting directly to the main node, and avoiding accessing then network through a satellite node or location.
