Can the range extender be hard wired to the router. AXE 7800 to AX 5400
Most of our Range Extenders can be used with a wired connection - as long as it supports AP Mode.
If you have the RE815X you can see AP mode listed in the specifications and feature sets. When an RE supports AP mode and a user is able to provide a wired connection to the RE, we normally recommend using the AP Mode as the connection doesn't suffer the same as it does when being repeated wirelessly.
