Hi,

I bought a TP-Link AC750 Wi-Fi Range extender in June 2023 and it has worked seamlessly all this while. But since yesterday, it stopped working.

When I turn on the Range Extender, the power solid green light stays ON for 5 seconds, then blinks for 10 seconds and later it is stuck in the same loop.

I tried to reset the Range extender by pressing on the RESET button but it it still stuck in the same loop.

Can someone help me how to resolve this?

  @ChetanMurthy,

The Guide for the RE200 and RE220 can be found here: RE200 and RE220 User Guide

This states that the RE is in the process of booting up or upgrading the firmware.

Have you tried to access the web interface of your Range Extender to see if anything is reported? Can your Tether App connect to the RE?

I would recommend connecting a wired device to the Range Extender and seeing if you can log into the web interface, from there we would also potentially have access to system logs.

After the initial set of blinks, what is the status of the LEDs on the RE? Or does it simply get stuck in a continuous reboot cycle?

  @Riley_S
I am neither able to establish a wired connection nor connect wirelessly to the RE. Also I can't connect to the RE using the Tether App.

After the initial set of blinking for 10 seconds, all the lights come on for a second and it turns off and the cycle is repeated -  It seems to be stuck in a continuous reboot cycle.

  @ChetanMurthy,

Unfortunately, without a way to interface with the device with wired or wireless connections( outside of the reset button) it is difficult to troubleshoot. If you have tried to reset multiple times to no effect, it is recommended to reach out to local support or your retailer to check the device warranty. You will need to provide your serial number and proof of purchase to our support teams.
