  @AL-Taz-Lover

Thank you for the kind words.  Man, your post brought me right back to that frustration.  I'm so glad you were able to avert it.  It sure was frustrating.

The great news is now that you're past it, you're past it.

I appreciate your post.  Thanks, again.

  @NCSU86

Is anyone with a D225 Doorbell experiencing audio issues where a visitor speaks into the D225 and the voice sounds choppy and distorted? The video appears to be just fine. I tried an Android tablet, Android and iPhone with the same results.

When you click on settings (little gear icon in upper right corner) it's the box directly below "Power Options".  Mine says..."Always-On"

So, when I click on the gear icon I see:

Detection      Power Options

Doorbell       Always-On

  @AL-Taz-Lover

I replaced the D225 which resolved the issue.

Did you wire the D225 to your existing door bell or other electrical source?

My d225 is hardwired to a 24 volt 10va power supply, no previous door bell wiring. Mine keeps leaving Always on mode claiming that the battery is draining to quickly. Can't seem to find a solution.

This article should help, check it out. Why does the Tapo Doorbell still discharge when powered through hardwiring?
