Hello,

I am a hobbyist looking forward to do some image processing using C425 wireless cameras on Raspberry Pi model 5.

I understand that as a wireless camera, RTSP access is not support, but is it allowed?

I really don't care as what I want on my RPI is same access as the "TAPO" app (and some others) have on my iPhone to the camera.

I would call success to my issue is when I can get the camera stream to be displayed on the RPI's HDMI output.

I am hoping this will be a simple fix.

Thanks in advance for your support.

Mark

  @Mark-91910

Hello Mark, RTSP is not available on battery cameras due to the constant, always-on connections needed in RTSP.  It's not suitable for a camera powered by a battery.   That said all of our wired-powered Tapo Cameras support RTSP.
