Unable to change device name via Tether app
Hi, I am unable to change the name of the device via the app iPhone. I follow the instructions and hit save but nothing happens. Is a reboot required or is the app not working properly to change the name?

@Kensho Same issue with changing the name. I hit save and the name doesn't change. TP-Link needs to address this.

@RCSjr It seems they don't want to address it. I still have the same problem months later.
I dumped the Archer and it looks as though the extenders are next. They disconnect more and more often, so I wanted to change the name to force all attached units to reconnect, but that failed.

@Kensho I just got a new wifi raouter and without my knowledge the cable guy and my husband decided to change the name of the Wifi Router. Now my TP link won't connect, reset or acknowledge the new router or wifi?? I have tried everything app, website and resetting and now the website seems to be down.
