I've been enamored of the h500 hub but still not sure if it's worth the price to me. I also have an inside old geenie Cam, I'm hoping would connect, but...

But, I accidentally ordered the h100 thinking it had storage, HDMI out and USB. Amazon refused cancellation and it's on its way. Is there any reason to even open it? What CAN it do? 

 I'm hoping to see the H500 go down in price, but, I'm also questioning what it can do and if I really need. So far the answer is yes, but not sure why! 🤣

 Anybody use any of these? Or any suggestions on a NVR for Tapo cams?

The main difference between these two models lies in camera support. Currently, this refers specifically to the Tapo camera or doorbell, as cameras from other brands are not compatible due to the Matter protocol's lack of streaming support. Therefore, if you plan to add a Tapo camera to your smart system, you might consider going for the H500.
