I have numerous Kasa HS switches in the home but I've installed two in the garage and they have both failed after a couple years.  The first switch stopped turning off after a couple years. It was replaced with another that also failed to turn off after a couple years. There's something with the garage such as the cold that is causing both switches to fail. The relay clicks but for some reason it's not turning off. The app shows it is off. I'm assuming there is an IC responsible for switching that is the point of failure. Does anyone know anything about the internal workings of the switch? It is impossible to take apart without cutting it open.
