I need to access a security camera at the end of a 950 ft. driveway. It has one corner in the driveway about 700 ft. down. At the corner I have LOS from the house and to the camera. I have been researching the CPE 210 configured as a repeater but am unsure if this solution would work. Instead of thes anntena-pair talking to each other, they would be pointed away from each other as a relay. Running a hard line 1000 ft. seems profoundly

The plan is to have a WAVLINK AX3000 on the house talking to the "relay" up to the camera (REOLINK 4K - self contained solor powered wirless unit). The relay-unit at the corner would also be solor powered.

Could someone clarify if this is possible or have I gone down the wrong road?

I am not aware of any other TP-Link equipment that would accomodate.

  @clink17 2 pairs EAP211-Bridge kits to work around the corner, or one pair with LOS above the roof 1 km range.  Still need to wire/power with PoE...

  @jzchen

Thank you for the response. I feel like I am missing some detail, could you please clarify how the corner would be configured? Are the EAP211 antenna pairs only able to communicate with each other? Thank you

  @clink17 I have no experience with Bridges but they may need clear line of sight to to work.  As you note the alley is not straight from end to end, so there is a corner.  Above the building I assume you could possibly establish line of sight end to end if you clear the roof, then use only one pair of EAP211.

Since the EAP211 has a range up to 1 km, I do not think they can work with normal WiFi devices, which have more limited range...

  @clink17 Alas sorry if I yet misunderstood, you need a WiFi node at the corner that is solar powered.  I have no knowledge of such a device for sale.  I am sorry.

  @jzchen No worries, I believe that was the missing piece to my understanding. Thank you for your time. Cheers
