I palced 4 HS200 switches in one location and was able to connect them and enter a schedule. When I tried to change the schedule i was not able to connect to the switch using the Kasa mobile app. I figured since they are located in a closet, the signal is not strong so I added a wifi extender. Now I'm trying to configure the switch and it's connecting to the TP-link-xxxxx network, but it keeps on spinning, never going to the next step.

Could you clarify exactly what’s happening? Is it that your phone fails to connect to the smart switch’s own WiFi signal -- for example, it doesn’t get a checkmark in the WiFi list, and your status bar doesn’t switch to the WiFi icon? Or is it that the app gets stuck at that specific step during setup?
If your phone won’t connect: This can sometimes be due to the phone itself, as some models won’t connect to a WiFi network that doesn’t have an active internet connection.
If the app gets stuck: You can try the troubleshooting steps listed here: Is Your Kasa Device Not Connecting? Troubleshooting Setup Issues
