TP-Link Archer c700 and Hopper 3

I purchased the Hopper 3 through DISH because I liked the access to the APPS. That was in Oct 2016. I purchased the TP-Link Archer c 700 which DISH said was compatible.Since then I have spent countless hours with Dish to get the issue fixed. Here is what happens when you click on an app like Netflix it may or may not start but if you do get to select a show it stops loading at 50%. I've searched the internet and sounds like Hopper 3 firmware can't accept some signal from the router/modem in time to not time out. Does anyone know if one has discovered a solution by changing the router settings. DISH does not appear to have a cl:mad:ue.
