I bought an M7350 in Sweden and used it there. It was WONDERFUL. Nice little device. Now I want to use it at home in the USA. I need a new SIMCARD, I know that. Is there any reason to expect that it won't work in the USA?

Yes, TP-Link doesn't sell MiFi in USA, so the network type in USA's ISP may not be supported by M7350. You need check whether the ISP in USA can work in the network type which M7350 support.
4G: FDD-LTE B1/B3/B7/B8/B20 (2100/1800/2600/900/800MHz)
3G: DC-HSPA+/HSPA/UMTS B1/B8 (2100/900MHz)
2G: EDGE/GPRS/GSM Quad Band (850/900/1800/1900MHz)

There are some other tplink MiFi can also support TDD.
