I have a TC-W7960 and 2 HP Printers connected via ethernet. I set them up through my Mac and have successfully connected to both printers and have been able to print to them. The problem is over the course of the day, they disappear from the network. Therefore, I am unable to print to them. The only way to get them back is to restart my mac and I can access them again. Why do they keep disappearing? I read somewhere I should assign an IP address to the printer or in the router admin? If this is the case, how do I do that?

Any suggestions would be appreciated,
Thanks,
Jim

This modem doesn't have the IP reservation feature, but you still can setup a static IP address on your printer's settings, then the IP won't change.
