Resetting Your Device

A hard reset will restore your device to factory default settings or as if you are installing the device for the first time. This procedure would be recommended should the device not be responding or if you want to set it up with a new Wi-Fi network.

Note: After performing the hard reset please check the label at the back of the unit to get the default access info and login credentials.

To perform a hard reset please follow the instructions below. Method 1 is applicable for most of the AP models. For models such as range extenders, they can be hard reset by using Method 2.

Method 1 (Access Points):

Press and hold the reset button on the rear panel with a small object for approximately 8 to 10 seconds when the device is powered on.  You will see all the LED light turn on then off. The extender lights will start to come back on, that will mean the device has been reset successfully.

Method 2 (Range Extenders):

Press and hold the reset button on the rear panel with a small object for approximately 1 to 2 seconds while the device is powered on.  You will see all the LED light turn on then off. The extender lights will start to come back on, that will mean the device has been reset successfully.
