The Status LEDs on a Deco serve a vital purpose in understanding the current state of your Mesh Wi-Fi Network. Please refer to the chart below for helpful insights into what your Deco Status LEDs are telling you.

LED Status Deco Status
Pulsing Yellow Resetting
Solid Yellow Starting up
Pulsing Blue Ready for Setup
Solid Blue Setting up
Pulsing Green or White Upgrading Firmware
Solid Green or White All Set and Connected to the Internet
Pulsing Red Satellite Deco Disconnected from Main Deco

Depending on your Deco's model and design, its Status LED may be in a different location compared to other models. For example, some models may have the Status LED at the top center of the Deco, or top edge of the Deco, while others may be at the unit's base.

No matter where your Deco's Status LED is positioned, the Deco App can also provide detailed images to help you locate and understand the status of your Deco.

Most Deco models support controlling the LEDs on your Decos — including manually turning them on or off in the Deco app, or scheduling when you want the LEDs on or off based on time and day of the week. To learn more about this feature and how to use it, please see Our FAQ on the LED Feature of Your Deco.

What makes the M4R LEDs stay yellow, stay starting up and not turn flashing Blue in order to be able to start setup?

All my lights are yellow including internet

I have a Deco 4R (EU ) V1 stuck in a red light.

It is not accessible in any way and it does not respond to reset (hardware button).

If I hold the reset button while powering up, it starts blinking alternative yellow and blue which is not described in any manual, and it is not visible on ethernet or phone app.

What can I do ?

Try to reset the point via reset (keep it for no more than 1 second)
If the situation does not change, then try to restore the software.
1) download the firmware from the website
2) connect the PC with a cable, register the static ip on the PC 192.168.0.66 with a mask 255.255.255.0
3) unplug power
4) hold down the reset and, without releasing the reset, insert power
5) go to 192.168.0.1
6) upload the firmware

Hello community,

Currently, I am using a TP-Link Deco AC1200, and my Wi-Fi keeps turning off by itself, and then it starts working again after a while. When I checked my Deco, I noticed that there was a red light on, and it wasn't blinking. My Deco is connected to the internet and power. Can someone help me solve this issue?

XE75 Pro satellite has flashing blue light and won't set up.

S4 unit is flashing green after firmware upgrade and shows as offline in the network? Multiple resets tried, removed from network and now I cannot add it back in.
