I recently bought a AC 1900 router on amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00PDLRHFW) and hope the parental control works

Firmware Version: 3.17.0 Build 20161008 Rel.64225n
Hardware Version: ArcherC9 v1

I followed all the instructions, from its official web site ( http://www.tp-link.com/us/faq-1145.html). The instructions are simple, but after enabling parental control, only my PC has internet, non of the devices in home has internet access anymore. even I add one laptop MAC into the list, still does not work, no internet access for the laptop, and any other PC in the home network. what is wrong ? or this 'feature" never worked ?

I notice this on the web UI

"Non-Parental PCs not listed will not be able to access the Internet."

what does this even mean ? I have 10 devices at home, need to add all of them in order to have internet access? but I only want to control one laptop ?

If your PC is the only parental pc, then the pc has no restriction to access internet. If you do not add other computers' Mac address in children's pc box, or you add them but do not enter any allowed website addresses, then none of them can access internet. If you just want to control one laptop, use Access Control.
