Same issue with T6E

When the Win10 update installed, the Wifi was not seen - and neither was the T6E.

The only way to use this was to rollback to the old version of Win10, not an ideal solution.

The last driver update for T6E was 2015... will there be a new driver? I only bought this computer a few months ago, and will be well naffed off if i can't use the damned thing....

Some people have fixed the T9E by moving it to another PCI port. As far as drivers, the chip is made by Broadcom so I don't think so.

I've gotten my Archer T9E working again, by installing the Insider Preview Build 17063.rs_prerelease.171213-1610- so I'd imagine the next regular update for Windows SHOULD restore functionality.

1/8 update for windows fixes driver problem

I chose not to roll back from the Fall Creators update which broke the driver. I was waiting for Jan patch Tuesday (last night), and it did fix the driver not working issue. Card is in the same slot as it has always been, and is working again.

Kudos to Adamu...this route works!

follow these steps and you will be good to go:

1. Before you install the windows 10 feature update make sure to download "windows10.0-kb4056892-x64_a41a378cf9ae609152b505c40e691ca1228e28ea" aka KB4056892 from the Microsoft catalog (you have to use internet explorer not edge) if you only have one computer to use. You can also download it to from another computer with internet connectivity and transfer it to the computer with the issue via USB flash drive.

2. After you have downloaded/transferd the "KB4056892" file to the troublesome computer (i suggest just dropping it on your desktop for easy access), proceed to upgrade to the windows feature update 1709.

3 After you have upgraded to the windows feature upgrade 1709, double click the windows update you put on your desktop "KB4056892". It will take a few moment to install and then require a reboot.

After your system boots back up, you should have internet/WiFi connectivity!

I compiled this driver for the T4UH, but it works with the T9E too! Another member on the forum confirmed it. Try it out, 10% speed boost and 100% windows 10 compatible!

Thank you! I had tried changing the PCI slot (the first time I had ever done something like this, so it was a relief when I turned on and it all worked! I had to move the display adaptor first, as that was blocking access to the PCI slot! So two cards moved.

Then I tried the Windows Update, and that didn't recognise the WiFi adaptor - so I rolled back, checked this thread again, downlaoded the update mentioned here, reinstalled the Win10 update, ran KB4056892... and it works!

Again, thank you :)

None of the above suggestions work on my build 1703 15063.877...I keep rolling back my build...
