TL-WR802N tplinkwifi.net access stops after IP change

When if first log onto the router the web page works. If I change IP address then the next time the web page address does not work with the browser I used the first time.
I can still acess the setup with the IP address. If I go to another browser the web address works. If I change the IP address back to what it was before then the browser will no longer acces the setup using the web address. still works with IP address.
The manual says that the proxy on the browser has been set but I checked and it has not.
Any suggestions... I tested this with 3 different browsers and they all works the same...
