Archer C9 unresponsive after attempted firmware upgrade

Just tried to upgrade firmware of my otherwise perfect Archer C9 v1 (US) - big mistake! Now all I see is the three right-most lights (two USB indicators and the opposing arrows) for 8-10 seconds after I cycle power, but nothing else. Have tried factory reset to no avail, at a loss for what else to do. Any suggestions for how to revive this router would be much appreciated!
