Can I use TL-WA801ND as an Access Point and connect the Cisco EA4500 router to TL-WA801ND with ethernet cable for the network connection between the two? It does not seem to be option in the manual? Since I already have ethernet cable running to the remote part of the house it would be better to connect it via ethernet and let the wireless devices in that area use the TL-WA801ND. I would think it would provide more reliable solution than using tp device as a wireless extender.

If you have Ethernet cable ready, it is good option that set up 801 as default AP mode, and connect 801 to the LAN port of EA4500 with ethernet cable.
