AC 1200 slow wifi connection

Archer 1200 Ver. 3. When I connect by ethernet cable download is 10+ mpbs. By wifi it's less than 2 mpbs, often less than 1. This happens even with my computer right next to the router. Connecting at 2400. I've turned off all other wifi devices with no effect. Unplugged cordless phone. Up to two weeks ago wifi download was 4-6 mpbs one floor below the router.
