Model: Archer C8
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.1.1

Good day,

I use a VoIP service at home. I originally had a Cisco SPA112 and then changed it to Grandstream HT812.

In both boxes, I have trouble with occasional and random registration failures. Rebooting the VoIP boxes and the Archer C8 does not solve the problem. Eventually, the registration succeeds.

There were no issues with my previous TP Link router (WR1043ND) for years

The ALG SIP is disabled, so I wonder if there is another setting that I should adjust.

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

@HowardBannister

If you arleady disabled ALG SIP, then the other variable is proabalby NAT Boost. Log into the router and go to Advanced > System Tools > System Parameters, scroll down. Uncheck the option for NAT Boost, and save it.
