Model: TL-WPA7510 KIT
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version:

Have WPA7510 Kit installed but want to add another extender. Can I purchase another extender by itself?  If so, what extender do I need and where can I purchase it?

thank you

@Richbat

The extenders are only sold in kits so you can get another WPA7510 kit, and place those two units around your residence. Only one powerline adapter needs to be wired to the router.

But we only want to buy the extenders to add-on to our adapter!

The wireless adapter for the HomeAV2 powerline adapters are only sold in kits.

The last adapter that was sold by itself was the TL-WPA4220. That is a slower adapter and is only 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.

Will that extender be compatible with the WPA7510 AC750, albeit slower and with only 2.4G?@Tony

Yes, you can add the TL-WPA4220 to your powerline network. Just note that the network speeds will lower so everything is running AV600. It really comes down to testing the speeds to see if that affects you or you may not even notice with the speeds you need from the powerline network.
