I just set up my new TP loink Archer C4000 3 band router which features 3 bands and  has 3 ssid's and with a default password

When I look at my available networks I can see 2

SSID TP Link 42C3-5G_1

SSID TP Link 42C3-5G_2

The third SSID TP-Link_42C3 does not display

Should I connect to any of the two displayed and enter the default password?

Will the other radio bands  be utilized automatically as needed?

Thanks for your help

@idreos

The TP-Link_42C3 is the name for the 2.4GHz band,  That should be accessible by all devices as 2.4GHz is the oldest wireless technology still in use.  When you go into the rotuer ensure the band is enabled and the Hide SSID is not selected.

Also make sure the firmware is up to date.  FW can be downloaded from here. https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/download/archer-c4000/#Firmware

Best Regards
